What the $149 callout covers
The $149 covers travel and the first hour of work on site. That is enough to sort most one-off faults — a solenoid, a broken sprinkler, a cut pipe. If we fix it inside the hour, $149 plus parts is the whole bill.
It covers all of Townsville, from Wulguru and Kelso to the Strand and out to Bushland Beach — up to 15 km from Kirwan. It is charged whether or not the repair goes ahead, because the diagnosis is the work.
We can't price a buried pipe until we've seen it
Nobody can. That is what the first hour is for. As soon as we can see the problem we tell you what it costs, and we don't do any more work until you say go.
Past the first hour it is $135 an hour inc GST, charged as full hours. Parts are on top.
New systems
A new system is $2,500 a zone. That includes the design, trenching, valves, heads, controller, and setting the watering program so the grass actually stays healthy. We confirm how many zones your place needs with a pressure and flow test on site — not a guess off a plan.
Trenching leaves lines in the grass for a few weeks. They grow out. We tell you that up front rather than let you find it.
What we don't do
We don't work on bores or pumps. If your system runs off a bore we can still fix the sprinklers, valves, pipes and timer — just not the bore or the pump itself.
- If a fix we have done doesn't hold, we come back and put it right. No charge.
- A different fault in a different part of the system is a new job — the guarantee covers work that doesn't hold, not the next thing to go wrong.
